Rates vary based on the pickup address, destination address, and pickup time. zTrip defines its boundaries as any address that is within a 25-mile radius from its headquarters at 1300 Lydia Avenue, Kansas City, MO. Anything outside of the 25-mile radius is considered to be an "out of area" trip. Below is a list of my rates and how they are applied:

If the pickup and destination address are within zTrip's dispatch boundaries, the rate is $10.00 for the first 4 miles then $2.20 for each mile after that. Anything less than 4 miles is charged a minimum of $10.00.

If either the pickup or destination address is outside of the 25-mile radius, the rate is $15.00 for the first 4 miles then $3.30 for each mile after that.

For trips where the time of pickup is between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM CST, the rate is $15.00 for the first 4 miles then $3.30 each mile after that.

SPECIAL EVENTS - Passengers can reserve our services for events or situations where you would want us to stay with you for the entire duration to ensure that a return trip would be on "standby" and ready to depart when you are. For example, some passengers have reserved us for trips to and from Arrowhead Stadium and each situation will vary in pricing depending on the circumstances.

As an independent contractor for zTrip, I have the advantage of being able to negotiate my rates on a case-by-case basis. I do require that all trips be paid in advance. A quote will be emailed to you but your trip WILL NOT be added to the schedule until it is paid for. These quotes (invoices) are automatically deleted 48 hours after they are sent out if not paid.

For clarification, if you are in one of the above-mentioned areas, we do not provide "in-town" or short runs. For example, we do not service Paola to Paola because the time and distance to get there are cost-prohibitive for what might turn out to be a $10.00 trip. Also, short runs such as from Paola to Spring Hill will always have a minimum charge because, again, we are sending a driver at least 30 miles to get to those areas so the trip itself has to be worthwhile. Minimums can be anywhere from $100.00 - $150.00, or $3.30 per mile, whichever is greater, depending upon the pickup address.

Refund Policy - No refunds will be made if you have paid for your trip but then cancel it less than 24 hours before the original pickup time. A credit for future travel will be provided equal to the amount of your original purchase. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the original pickup time, a full refund will be provided back to the original payment method you used. The exception to this policy applies to special event bookings listed below. Also, if you book travel to or from the KCI/MCI airport and fail to notify us that you have missed your flight or the flight was delayed, and we have already sent a driver to the airport to pick you up, no refund will be provided and you will be billed for the additional trip should you still require us to pick you up. We ask that you understand that when we are traveling to the airport to pick you up, we're driving 30-45 minutes to get there and if you are not on the scheduled flight, we have exhausted a trip when we could have been picking up other passengers. While flight delays or missed connections are common, it is your responsibility to keep us updated so we can make arrangements to get you at a later time, if still feasible. In some cases (though rare) a delayed arrival could conflict with other passengers we have scheduled and we will make every effort to accommodate everyone involved.

ARROWHEAD STADIUM - CHIEFS HOME GAMES - $400.00 IF THE PASSENGER HAS A RED/GOLD PARKING PASS. $450.00 IF PASSENGER DOES NOT HAVE A PARKING PASS, SO THE DRIVER WILL PURCHASE ONE ONLINE. THIS RATE INCLUDES THE DRIVER PICKING YOU UP, TAKING YOU INSIDE OF THE STADIUM AND THEN WAITING UNTIL THE END OF THE GAME FOR YOUR RETURN TRIP TO THE ORIGINAL PICKUP ADDRESS. IF THERE ARE MULTIPLE PICKUP AND DESTINATION ADDRESSES, $25.00 WILL BE ADDED FOR EACH ADDITIONAL ADDRESS. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS PROVIDED FOR THESE EVENT PURCHASES!
